for Congregational Search Committees and Searching Rabbis
- The RABBINICAL Placement Commission of the Central Committee of American Rabbis (CCAR)

As a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, we are required to follow these procedures. We believe that reading this document will help interested congregants to understand the rabbi search process that we will be following, as well as providing a sense of the timelines involved. We especially encourage, if at all possible, that you read the “Handbook” . We think that it will help to make sense out of a complex process.
