Experience Morton Arboretum on "Tu B'Shvat”, Jewish tree-planting celebration, the "New Year for Trees." Family fun: tree crafts by Treewhispers, stories by puppeteer Marilyn Price, Israeli folk dances by Shalechet Aviv dancers, Yiddish/English tree songs by Mameloshn Singers, then a Seder ceremony, and buffet dinner of traditional Jewish foods. Take a special, free, guided walk to see many trees that are a part of this celebration.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 20, 2008 - 1 to 9 P.M.Gatehouse Fees: $9 Adults (18–64) $8 Seniors (65+) $6 Youth (3–17) Free under age 3. Mameloshn will be performing from 4:00 -4:45 in the family program and from 6-9 pm at the dinner party.

Reservations required for dinner, tickets at $47 adults, $24 children ages 3-12 ($40 and $18 for Arboretum members); cash bar; call 630-725-2066. Entry waived for those with dinner reservations. Members always enter free!

Mameloshn is Oak Park Temple's Yiddish singing group, Mameloshn, is dedicated to preserving and maintaining Yiddish culture through the beautiful music created in past generations.
