Dinner with a Cause
Thursday, February 2, 6:30 pm
Enjoy a potluck baked potato bar dinner with new and old friends,
while raising awareness and supporting:
National Immigrant Justice Center
A HEARTLAND ALLIANCE Program
The National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), a program of Heartland Alliance, promotes human rights and access to justice for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers through legal services, policy reform, impact litigation, and public education. Throughout its 30-year history, NIJC has been unique in blending individual client advocacy with broad-based systemic change.
We will supply the baked potatoes – you supply a baked potato topping, dessert or beverage to share (serving 6-8 people, vegetarian only, please).
A suggested donation of $20 per family ($5 per unaccompanied teen) will be collected.
Enjoy a friendly dinner and a short presentation by a member of NIJC’s Chicago office.
All donations collected will be delivered to NIJC – please, be generous!
Registration would be appreciated.
Dinner With A Cause is an independent and non-secular event open to all interested parties. We hope to make this a recurring event with a different “cause” each time. We welcome suggestions for national or local advocacy organizations to support at future events and hope that you make Dinner With A Cause an ongoing event on your calendar.
