Join the Chevre Hiddur Mitzvah

Chevre Hiddur Mitzvah is the name of the newly formed Oak Park Temple Arts Club. The group is about developing honor, respect, attention, intention and depth in our religious and social lives by activating the artist in each of us. As chevre, we come together to enjoy and support one another and our community in creative endeavors, both personal and communal. We had a great first meeting on April 30th, 2008.

In addition to being of service to OPT as resources and innovators, we are interested in getting to know one another, learning from one another, and sharing skills and projects together. Relationship building among our group is a great first step and projects will grow naturally out of our desire to do things together. Chevre Hiddur Mitzvah’s activities will fall into two categories (which will certainly overlap and enrich each other): SOCIAL and SERVICE. Toward that end we have agreed to meet monthly.
